The prestigious Vidyodaya Law College which bears testimony to the sagacity and visionary zeal of our beloved Founder Prof. Subramanyaswamy and the institution was developed by Prof. H.S. Seshadri, who was the former Principal and also the Managing Trustee.

The college was established in the year 1958 under the Sri Vidyodaya Education Society and it was replaced by Sri Vidyodaya Foundation (R.) Trust by Prof. H.S. Seshadri, a visionary and philanthropist with the sole objective of serving the society with faculty of high calibre, effective and interactive teaching skills.

It gives me immense pleasure to say that, this institution was established with the approval of Bar Council of India and affiliated with the Mysore University, Bengalore University, Tumkur University and at present Karnataka State Law University with a sole objective to serve the society.

This institution as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the area of legal studies with the noble mission of imparting quality legal education adopting a befitting approach in a healthy academic atmosphere which has gone a long way in moulding the future of students to enable them to meet professional challenges with confidence and fortitude.
