Working Hours:  10-00 am to 5-00 pm


Library is a Temple of Knowledge we have a well-equipped spacious Computerized library, which boasts of latest and authoritative legal compendium of all central and state acts. Lexicons, Encyclopedia, legal Reports, Legal Glossaries, Reviews, Journals and Commentaries. Reading and Reference room facility is also available. Apart from the textbooks and reference materials, there are also various Newspapers, general magazines and legal magazines. We also have regular supervision and guidance by the staff. The dedicated teachers also assist the students in preparing notes and methodology of searching the required materials from the shelves of the library. The library has been equipped Automation with Easylib Software 6.4a Cloud base with facilities like Web OPAC.

Library Rules and Regulations:

  • All student and visitors who enter the library shall recorded their details in/out management.
  • ID card must enter the library without ID no entry ID card will be provided to borrow the library books.
  • Rare books and References sources for in house use only.
  • No Borrowers shall write/damage any mark on any book, journal other materials belonging to the library.
  • The Borrower shall be responsible for any damage or loss done to library documents borrowed by them.
  • Disfiguring and marking the pages of library books with ink or pencil is prohibited.
  • Defects found in the Books and Bound Volumes should be brought to the notice of the library personnel immediately.
  • Pages of the Books and Bound Volumes should not be folded to serve as book Marks.
  • Books and Bound Volumes should be handled with care.
  • Engaging in conversation, discussion, group study inside the library is strictly prohibited.
  • Users should not disturb the arrangement of furniture.
  • Use of Cell Phone is strictly prohibited in the library.
  • A student shall produce no-due certificate in the examination.
  • Users are requested to avoid conversation and discussion that will disturb other readers. Library hall is meant for individual study only.
  • Library users are requested to not to reshuffle the materials (Books, Journals, etc.): the library staff will do it for you.
  • Smoking, consuming snacks etc., in the library is prohibited.

Circulation

Library Members are eligible to borrow from the lending collection. Number of items and loan periods vary depending on the type of Membership. Reference materials, periodicals, bound volumes are not available for borrowing.

N-LIST

The project entitled N-LIST or “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content” is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India under its National Mission on Education through ICT program, which operates through its headquarter set-up at the INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The project was formerly launched by honorable Union Minister of Human Resource Development Sri Kapil Sibal on 4th May 2012 and is being jointly executed by the UGC-INFONET Digital Library Consortium, INFLIBNET Centre and the INDEST-AICTE Consortium, IIT, Delhi.

The N-LIST project provides access to e-resources to students, researchers and faculties from colleges and other beneficiary institutions through servers installed at the INFLIBNET Centre. The authorized users from colleges can now access e-resources and download articles required by them directly from the publisher’s website (http://nlist.inflibnet.ac.in) with individual user id and password once they are duly authenticated as authorized users.

National Digital Library of India

N-LIST: National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for scholarly content (inflibnet.ac.in)

The National Digital library of India (NDLI) is a project under Ministry of Human Resource DevelopmentIndia. The objective is to integrate several national and international digital libraries in one single web-portal. The NDLI provides free access to many books in English and the Indian languages.
